2012年11月11日「１１．１１反原発１００００００人大占拠」への、Uranium Free NSWからの賛同声明

日本の皆様、

何ヶ月にも渡り日本中で行われている再稼動反対、反原発運動に参加されている方々に私たちは心から尊敬の意を表し、声援をお送りします。唯一の受け入れられる解決策「核のない日本」を実現することを私たちは心から強く祈っています。

オーストラリアから輸出されたのウランが（将来も輸出されるであろうウランが）、あのような破局的な汚染を日本やその周辺にもたらし、何万人もの人々の故郷と生活基盤を剥奪した福島原発事故を考えると恐怖を覚えます。私たちはそのようなことがまた起こらないように全力を尽くさねばなりません。

私たちは、11月11日の「11.11反原発1000000人大占拠」に連動してイベントを行い日本の方々へ強い声

援をお送りするとともにオーストラリアのウラン輸出とNSW州のウラン産業開始に強い反対の意を表します。

Hydrangea Friday in Sydney – Solidarity with Japan　on 26th October 2012

To the People of Japan

We wish to express our very strong respect and support for everyone who has participated so passionately and persistently for so many months against the reactivation and commissioning of nuclear power stations around Japan. We send you strength, and hope that you achieve the only acceptable outcome: a nuclear free Japan.

As Australians we are horrified to think that through the Japanese nuclear disasters, Australian uranium has had (and continues to have) such a devastating contaminating effect on Japan and its surrounding environment, and on the homelands and livelihoods of so many thousands of Japanese people. We will do all we can to prevent such a thing ever occurring again.

We’re coming together to show our support for the people of Japan AND to show our opposition to the export of Australian uranium on 2012 November 11th.
